Bugaboo and You! Are you a family on the go? Do you plan on taking your child with you on all of your many adventures? Do you expect high quality and versatility from your stroller? Then Bugaboo may be the answer. With innovative designs, the line of Bugaboo strollers allows you to travel many terrains with your little one in tow. The Bugaboo Frog is one of the most versatile and user friendly strollers I have come across. It can accommodate children from the time they are born to approximately 4 years of age. There are so many options with this stroller that it is difficult to keep them straight! There are 7 different fabric color options for the Frog. The fabric is machine washable which is very handy when it comes to children! The great thing about the Bugaboo Frog is that many of the components can be used separately from the stroller. The seat is removable and can be used by itself. This can be a great option if your little one falls asleep in the stroller and you want to remove her once you arrive at your destination. The Frog also comes with a bassinet frame, which can be used on the stroller or on its own. The bassinet can accommodate your child until she reaches 20 pounds. In addition, the Frog is very easy to use. It has small front wheels allowing for sharp turns and easy maneuverability. For this reason, it is very popular among city dwellers who do a lot of walking. You can easily steer the Frog with one hand. The suspension on the stroller enables you to travel over rough terrain without waking or jostling your baby. The seat has 3 tilt position options and is reversible, allowing your child to either face you or face forward to see the world! Like the Frog, the Bugaboo Chameleon accommodates children from birth to about 4 years of age. It has very similar features to the Frog. However, the Chameleon was made as an improvement on the Frog, based on consumer input. It has a telescoping handle, allowing you to adjust it to fit your height. This is a great feature, as most strollers are either too tall or too short to fit everyone in the family. It has an adjustable suspension system for better handling on rougher terrain. The Bugaboo Chameleon also has a wider range of color choices than the Frog. There are some great accessories also available for both of these strollers. When you purchase a Bugaboo stroller, you get a rain protector, mosquito net, and a sun canopy. Car seat adapters make it possible for you to place your own car seat onto the stroller, which is a great option for a sleeping infant! The company sells a matching parasol and diaper bag as well. In addition, you can purchase a wheeled board. This is a great feature if you have an older toddler as well as a younger child. The board is attached to the stroller and allows the toddler to stand and ride. There's no need for a double stroller when you own a Bugaboo! The drawback of the Bugaboo strollers for some families will be the price. The Frog will set you back about $730. The Chameleon will cost you about $880. If you are on a limited budget, you may need to look at a different brand of stroller. However, if quality and versatility are highly important to you, Bugaboo may be the brand to go with. These luxury strollers will allow you to maneuver through a variety of terrains and look stylish. Assess your needs and take a Bugaboo stroller for a test drive. It may be just what you're looking for in a stroller! Written By: Shelley Frost |
